Steve Foster

Under the Influence

Fresh from seven sold-out shows at the Edinburgh Fringe 2016, and following a sold-out 4-star show at last year’s Adelaide Fringe, international award-winning singer/songwriter Steve Foster is back.

An international entertainer since his first successful album Coming Home In a Jar was released in 1972, Steve has always had an engaging stage presence and is an entertaining storyteller.

If you like Hank Williams, Elvis, Bob Dylan and Donovan, then this is your show. Steve Foster will tell stories of the stars who influenced his own award-winning songs, and perform a range of songs from 50s country hits, Elvis rock songs, the ballads of Donovan to Dylan’s protest songs.

“He has such a lyrical and engaging voice and a flowing gentle feel on guitar… and it was a real treat to hear that beautiful musical soul sing and play and tell his stories once again.” The Clothesline
